Every fabric carries a memory. July sunlight. Children's laughter. The sound of waves. The scent of sunscreen in the air. A whole summer spent protecting moments meant to last forever. Then September arrives. And it seems the story is over. We believe it's only the beginning.
Produciamo ombrelloni e lettini da 30 anni. Ciccarese nasce in Puglia nel 1996 da un'idea di Salvatore Ciccarese: fare prodotti di qualità vera, pensati per resistere al sole, al vento, al sale e agli anni. Oggi la nostra sede si estende su oltre 5.000 mq a Novoli (Lecce), dove artigiani e macchinari — in parte progettati internamente — danno vita a ogni pezzo. Tutto il ciclo produttivo avviene qui, con materie prime certificate e tracciabili.
We have been making beach umbrellas and sunbeds for 30 years. Ciccarese was founded in Puglia in 1996 by Salvatore Ciccarese with one clear goal: genuine quality, built to withstand sun, wind, salt, and time. Today our facility spans over 5,000 sqm in Novoli (Lecce), where craftspeople and purpose-built machinery — many designed in-house — bring every product to life. The entire production cycle happens here, using certified and fully traceable raw materials.

Made in Carcere è un'impresa sociale no profit fondata a Lecce nel 2007 da Luciana Delle Donne — ex dirigente bancaria che ha scelto di dedicare la propria vita alle persone ai margini. L'idea è semplice e radicale: portare lavoro vero dentro le carceri italiane. Le donne detenute cuciono a mano borse, pochette e accessori realizzati con tessuti di recupero donati da aziende tessili. Percepiscono un regolare stipendio, imparano un mestiere, ricostruiscono un futuro. Un punto dopo l'altro.
Made in Carcere is a non-profit social enterprise founded in Lecce in 2007 by Luciana Delle Donne — a former banking executive who chose to dedicate her life to people on the margins. The idea is simple and radical: bring real work inside Italian prisons. Incarcerated women hand-sew bags, pouches and accessories made from reclaimed fabrics donated by textile companies. They earn a regular wage, learn a craft, and rebuild a future. One stitch at a time.

Second Life was born from a simple idea: the fabrics from our umbrellas and sunbeds deserve more than landfill. Through our fabric replacement service, Ciccarese collects offcuts and retired covers, then donates them to Made in Carcere. There, they become something new — beautiful, functional, each carrying a story.
